Semco Maritime is an international engineering and project company focusing on the global offshore energy sector. The company operates within two main business areas, Renewables and Oil & Gas.

Semco Maritime has a long history within both business areas and has through the last decades delivered a number of successful projects with high demands for safety, stability and collaboration. The background for this strong track record are extensive capabilities within engineering, manufacturing, installation, service and modification of offshore assets.

Within Renewables, Semco Maritime has delivered more than 20 offshore substations since 2002 and conducted service on more than 50 wind parks. Today, the company is a central player in the green transition offshore. In 2023, Semco Maritime bought the German company, Wind Multiplikator. The acquisition is expected to further strengthen Semco Maritime’s position in the offshore wind market. In the Oil & Gas business, Semco Maritime services several of the largest offshore costumers from own yard facilities in Denmark, Norway and Scotland.

C.W. Obel has been an owner of Semco Maritime since 1996/1997.
